It's that time of year again, when the rattlesnakes start to wake up and are hungry after their short nap. It is also the nicest time to be out in the desert with your dog.

Take care of your best friend. Whether hiking, hunting, boating, camping, or just sitting in the backyard, there is always the possibility of running across a rattlesnake. Make sure your pet knows to stay away from this potential danger.

Snake breaking

Snake breaking is valuable training for both hunting dogs and family pets. Using a simple yet effective process, dogs are trained to avoid snakes through visual and auditory association with danger.

We have been providing this service for more than 25 years, and feel that this program has saved many dogs over the years. We are always finding better ways to keep your dog safe. We have found a small percentage of the dogs will still go up to a snake that doesn't move or make any noise, whether or not it is a rattlesnake. Because of this fact, we now use two snakes, one that rattles, and one that doesn't.

Snake Breaking sessions are offered on weekends beginning in March at varying locations throughout the Phoenix area. Sessions are by appointment only. The fee is $100.00 per dog, which includes one recheck. Additional rechecks may be scheduled for $30.00 each. See chart below for our schedule.
